BIOGRAPHY

Stefan Konzett - born in 1976 in Vorarlberg/Austria, studied Trombone at the "Tiroler Landeskonservatorium Innsbruck", as well as at the "Mozarteum Salzburg" with Dany Bonvin, where he got his diploma in 2004.
He works as a freelance trombonist and basstrumpeter in different orchestras, chambermusic ensembles and Jazzbands, as well as a teacher.
He plays with the Camerata Salzburg and the OENM (oesterreichisches Ensemble fuer neue Musik) Further projects are the brass ensemble SoundInnBrass Austria (Steven Mead), the baroque ensemble Concerto Stella Matutina, the Lungau Bigband (Salzburg), the trombone quartet Trombonica, the "Jazz-Orchester Vorarlberg", as well as the Festival Orchestra of the Trioler Festpiele Erl (Gustav Kuhn).
Recently he co-founded the new barock orchestra Musica Antiqua Salzburg.
He teaches at the "Musikschule Berchtesgaden" and gives private lessons.

Stefan Konzett - geboren 1976 in Vorarlberg, studierte Posaune am Tiroler Landeskonservatorium Innsbruck, sowie am Mozarteum Salzburg bei Dany Bonvin, wo er 2004 sein Diplom erhielt.
Er ist als freischaffender Posaunist und Basstrompeter in verschiedenen Orchestern, Kammer-Ensembles und Jazzbands, sowie als Pädagoge tätig.
Er spielt in der Camerata Salzburg und im OENM (Österreichisches Ensemble für neue Musik). Weitere Projekte sind das Brass Ensemble SoundInnBrass-Austria (Ltg. Steven Mead), Das Barockorchester Concerto Stella Matutina, das Posaunenquartett Tromboncia, die Lungau Bigband, das Jazz-Orchester Vorarlberg,sowie das Festivalorchester der Orchester der Tiroler Festpiele Erl (Ltg. Gustav Kuhn).
Vor kurzem gründete er das neue Barockorchester Musica Antiqua Salzburg.
Er unterrichtet an der Musikschule Berchtesgaden, sowie als Privatlehrer.
